Image
Introduction: Nestled amidst the majestic mountains of Uttarakhand, India, lies the picturesque town of Nainital. It was here, in the charming embrace of nature, that my childhood unfolded, filled with cherished memories and unforgettable experiences.  From playing cricket on sloping roads to savoring delectable momos, from strict boarding school routines to breathtaking views of Nainital Lake, my formative years in this enchanting town shaped my character and instilled a deep love for its beauty.  Join me on a journey back in time as I recall the moments that made my childhood in Nainital truly remarkable. Cricket on the Sloping Road: As the sun dipped below the horizon, signaling the end of a school day, my friends and I eagerly gathered on the sloping road. It was our battleground, where every shot played required utmost precision. One wrong move, and the ball would roll relentlessly downhill, evading our grasp.  We honed our cricketing skills, learning the art of care...

The Biggest Rivalry in the IPL- Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings (Mr. Mogli Special)

Image
"The IPL is India's most prominent celebration, and it gets better when the two brightest sides have a faceoff. When Mumbai Indians play the Chennai Super Kings, it's regarded as the 'El Classico' of India. I don't get it why people have to compare it to a football rivalry. Half of India knows nothing about El Classico. I mean people should call it 'Maha Mukabala, Maha Yudh' or something Indian. Common give it a better name!"  - Mr. Mogli   Chennai Super Kings vs Mumbai Indians The Indian Premier League is the biggest cricket league in the world. Today we saw the mega match of the season between the Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK); the biggest rivalry in the IPL's history.  In the 12th game of the tournament, the Thala gang outsmarted every move planned by the Hitman. Firstly wickets fell early for the Indians and this time Tilak Sharma failed too while facing the CSK all-rounder Ravinder Jadeja.  Jadeja bowled four overs and ...

It’s like living in a dream. The school was established in 1888 as St. Joseph Seminary (presently also known as SEM) by Italian Capuchin Fathers which was later converted to an all Boy’s catholic School – St. Joseph’s College. An ever-growing legacy of this school is now 132 years old. You Think That was Us! No Not Us

"Look around! The monuments ‘They’ built, make us proud to this day!" I have been living in India since 1996, I am pretty old to remember anything, as much of my memory has started to fade out. By the way, I am 24 years old! So, living in India has turned out quite well, I have achieved many things that some people still dream about – Let’s say, a decent lifestyle and a good education! My latest achievement is graduating as an architect. Well, I am not here to talk about myself. I am here to talk about architecture. I am here to talk about those pretty monuments we have and are so proud of. Dubai has the tallest building in the world known as Burj Khalifa. So what? We have the great Taj Mahal that was built in 1648 just 373 years ago. How time flies right?  My greatest of the greatest grandfather looking at the Taj Mahal in 1648 must-have thought if this is the level of architecture in 1648 in India, I only wonder what will happen by 2020. Well, my greatest grandfather, I...
